Sagging on Overhangs and Bridges

Cause: Inadequate cooling

Solution: If cooling is insufficient, extruded material won’t solidify quickly enough and will sag. Overhangs and bridges have no support underneath, making them prone to drooping or stringing. Increase cooling fan speed or reduce print speed for overhangs and bridges to allow more time for cooling. Aesthetic materials like silk or matte filaments cool more slowly and require extra cooling. In hot environments, consider using external cooling fans.
